[Ciar has been living on the edge of town for a while. Nobody, at least, messes with the dragon. He pays no attention to whatever the rumors might say about him. He just wants to mind his own business.

It's a nice, quiet little existence, if a little bit of a lonely one. At the moment, he's curled up with a blanket and a good book, listening to the rain outside. Though a bit of noise that is very much not the rain catches his attention, making him look up.]

Yeah. There's a half-demon who got in touch with me recently, said a friend of his needed a place to lay low for a while, too.

[He slips off his apron, making his way over to Vasha.]

[He leans against Ciar when he comes closer.]

Yeah. Do we know any construction guys, though?

I know a guy who knows a guy. I'll ask him to put us in touch.

[He wraps his arms around Vasha, briefly burying his face in the crook of the werewolf's neck.]

[Oh, stand up cuddle time. He promptly hugs Ciar tight.]

Good. Wait, is it the guy allergic to me?

Nah, different guy. It's the menreiki.

[There's a pleased hum at the hug.]

...please tell me he isn't going to suggest that loud stupid oni. Or the louder, stupider brother.

He probably won't. He knows you don't like either of them. He might tap the hellhound, though.

The hellhound's fine, so long as he stops getting all territorial. This is my land, he knows it, stop throwing a fit about it.

The puca. That's the one most likely to get him to behave.

The puca's a good kid when someone isn't pushing his buttons. He'll probably be hanging around while the hellhound's working.

No, probably not, but we'll see who else the menreiki gets. I just know he's going to make the hellhound help.

[He starts to tug Ciar to their living room.]

[And Ciar will happily go wherever he's tugged.]

[He laughs as he sits on the sofa, pulling Vasha into his lap.]

Then I'll happily take responsibility~

[He just laughs some more, lifting a hand to cup Vasha's cheek.]

Problems, huh? Well, it's a good thing you're too cute to resist.

[He smiles, leaning into that touch.]

Mhm~ And it's especially adorable how my fierce guard dog becomes such a sweet puppy when we're alone~

[His tail pops out, wagging.]

[He leans forward to rub noses with Vasha. The hand resting on Vasha's cheek goes up to start playing with his hair.]
