[He sends an affectionate sticker before hurrying through the rest of what he needs to do before going home.

When he gets home, he makes a beeline for upstairs to their shared bedroom and lets himself inside, breath hitching a little when he sees Aventurine.]

... The photo doesn't do you justice, you know.

[He lounges on the bed, coat tossed aside so Veritas can see the kintsugi like marks all on Aventurine's skin like this.]

[He makes his way over, letting a hand rest on Aventurine's torso briefly, before tracing up one of the kintsugi-esque marks.]

[He shudders.]

[The slightest of smirks as he continues to let his hand trace along the marks. He only stops when he reaches the spade on Aventurine's chest, fingertips brushing against it.]

[Another, bigger shudder and a shaky breath.]

My, you are quite sensitive. I wasn't expecting it.

[Tracing the outline of that spade now.]

[He's so sensitive, just this alone is already arousing him.]

[He presses a kiss to that spade this time, pointedly looking up at Aventurine as he does so.]

You certainly are, but considerably less so when you're lounging on our bed and whining after just a few kisses.

[He rubs at Aventurine's side, chuckling.]

You're teasing me! What do you want from me?

[He huffs. Veritas is so mean.]

[Veritas finally climbs onto the bed-- or, rather, onto Aventurine. From there, he just leans down for a kiss.

Oh, this is definitely as hot as he was hoping.]

[Aventurine melts into the kiss, reaching up and cupping Veritas's face with his hand.]

[He leans into that hand with a pleased hum. When he breaks the kiss, he turns his head to press a kiss to Aventurine's hand.]

Mm. It's strange, but I can't say I dislike it.

[Especially with Aventurine still at his mercy despite this.]

You know, I had an idea. The idea was I'd get to top but...I don't think that's gonna happen. This feels too good already.
