[Once again, Aventurine--Kakavasha, but in public he goes by Aventurine to keep his allure--has been dolled up and brought out to be shown off and fawned over at one of his aunt's galas. He and his sister are lucky, their aunt was able to locate them and get them out of a bad situation with the death of their parents, but...well. Parisa knows damn well that her brother is just being used as a status grab, what with his general beauty and intelligence and general good luck. But they can't do anything about it. They haven't got the money to get away from their aunt.

So Aventurine is dolled up and brought out to the gala, sitting more or less by himself in the garden. Like a statue.]

... I think I'm ready to leave. What about you?

Grab a bottle of wine and have some snacks sent to our room and yes. Please.

[He'll go ahead and grab a bottle of wine, in that case.]

[And Kakavasha makes arrangements for food to be brought to the honeymoon suite. He and Veritas have no issues sharing a bed, at least.

Soon enough, they're out of the reception and on their way.]

Thank goodness. I could have withstood more, but that doesn't mean I wanted to.

[His hand finds Kakavasha's again and he squeezes just a little. When they get to the suite, he opens the door for Kakavasha.]

[He returns the squeeze.

Once they get to their room and Veritas gets the door, Kakavasha just goes to flop on the bed.]

I'll change in a minute. I need to get off my feet.

[Veritas chuckles, setting down the bottle of wine for later. He'll go ahead and get changed, though. And he has no problem changing in front of Kakavasha.]

A week of absolutely no responsibilities and no visitors. Doesn't it sound wonderful?

[Once he's changed, he'll go ahead and... sit down on the bed, rather than flop, but. Still.]

[Kakavasha rolls over to put his head in Veritas's lap.]

How many baths are you going to take, hm~?

[He chuckles.]

Just don't use all the hot water. Some of us need showers~

[A beat.]

Though, if you'd like to join me for a bath or two, I'd have no objection.

[... He's still smiling but he's clearly serious.]

[Kakavasha blinks, stunned, before smiling a little more...teasingly.]

Are you sure? What if I'm a bath hog?

[He chuckles.]

I'll deal with that accordingly if that happens to be the case.

[He lifts his hand to start running his fingers through Kakavasha's hair.]

Mmm, then maybe I'll share with you. Are you taking one tonight?

I think I will, after I've gotten some rest.

[He starts playing with Kakavasha's hair a little, smile fond.]

[After they rest (and enjoy a snack and some wine), the two make their way to the bathroom.]

Do you like your baths hot or cold, Veritas?

I prefer them hot. What about you?

As hot as possible, unless it's summer.

[That sounds not fun.]

[Kakavasha gathers up the soaps and stuff they both like, towels included, before he starts to strip.
