A few weeks pass. Aventurine and Wing end up doing a lot of smaller jobs for the guild, occasionally getting assigned to help other members but always working together. They just mesh really, really well and it's helpful to have a Dark Hunter and War Magi that can float and go with whoever needs them most at the time. It's good.
Eventually, though, things go not so good. It's no one's fault, not really, but they got swarmed by some monsters with a lot of poison and sharp claws. Aventurine is fine, as he usually is, but Wing got the worst of it. They managed to escape and use a thread, but Wing is going to need a lot of time to recover.
Aventurine can't stop pacing as their healers look the other man over.]
[Fugo doesn't seem too bothered by Aventurine's reaction, at least.]
I'm almost done. He'll be fine, but he's going to need a lot of rest. I don't know how much he'll try to move around after this, but you may need to keep an eye on him.
Anything that'll make his injuries worse, anything too strenuous too soon, stuff of that general nature. I don't know how lousy a patient he is since this is the first time he's been injured to this extent.
