[Three years. Leone Abbacchio has been on the force for three years. He's pretty sure he's been dead the last two and a half, though. After taking that bribe from the pimp six months into his time on the force, he just...he isn't who he was, but he doesn't care anymore. He can't, not really. Not when everyone is fucking Napoli is taking the same bribes and doing the same shit.

So Abbacchio takes the bribes and uses them to get better quality cosmetics and goes down to the club he's pretty sure is owned by the mafia and loses himself for a few hours a week before it's back to the grind.

He kind of hates it.

Today might actually be good, though. They brought in one of Passione's capos, though at the time they didn't realize it. They just thought he was some dumbass getting into a brawl with some daytime drunks in the middle of the park, and they don't even have to let him go. He's wanted for questioning for some reason, so they might actually have time to find something that'll stick to this cazzo and get some criminal off the streets for now.

It's not likely but hey. It could happen.

Abbacchio finishes getting Bucciarati's prints.]

Detective Bianchi will be in soon to question you. Cause any trouble, and they'll call me back in to handle it. Got it?

Pizza? I know the place down the road makes good pizza Margherita and I don't wanna make you cook after all this.

Yeah, that sounds good.

[He was perfectly willing to cook! But honestly? Pizza sounds fantastic right now.]

[ripetuto]

[A small, shaky little smile.]

That, then. Fuck, I owe so fucking much.

[A smile... thank goodness. He returns the smile, gently squeezing Abbacchio's shoulder.]

I'll get that ordered, then. And Abbacchio... you don't owe me anything, I promise.

[ripetuto]

[The look on Abbacchio's face says he doubts that, but he just nods.

While Bucciarati places the order, Abbacchio summons Moody Blues. He knows it can rewind and all that, but...anything else? Anything useful?

And does it actually feel like vinyl? He's way too curious for his own good sometimes.]

[Advantages of the pizza place being just down the road? It won't take terribly long for their food to get here. After Bucciarati's done placing the order, he just leans against the door frame, watching Abbacchio and his Stand.]

[Please do not comment on him tugging at his Stand's skin, okay? It's vinyl! It feels weird!]

So how many of your men have Stands?

Giorno, Narancia, Mista, and Fugo all have Stands--Valenti isn't really one of mine, but he's got one too.

[A pause.]

Which reminds me, now I can show you Sticky Fingers properly... [So, he'll summon his own Stand.]

[Abbacchio stops messing with Moody Blues to get a good look at Sticky Fingers.

Moody Blues, either on an order or on its own, goes over and just. Tugs on the zippers.]

Ack-- Careful there. With humanoid Stands like these... we can feel what they feel.

[As if to demonstrate, Sticky Fingers reaches out to brush its fingers against Moody Blues's cheek.]

[Abbacchio actually jumps. At least Moody Blues stops tugging on the zippers, though.

It starts running its hands down Sticky Fingers's arms instead, squeezing a little since it is kinda rubbery so maybe...]

[It's a little hard to tell, but Sticky Fingers almost seems amused as it allows Moody Blues to continue touching it.

Bucciarati just chuckles as he watches, even if the sensation is... strange.]

[ripetuto]

I am not telling it to do that, I swear.

[Moody Blues why.

Obviously Sticky Fingers is not rubbery, so eventually Moody Blues stops and just watches the other Stand. That, or Abbacchio got the damn thing under control again. And just in time, as there's a knock on the door.]

Pizza already?

[nellacerniera]

Yeah, the place is just down the road.

[As he goes to answer the door. He'll get that taken care of and bring the pizza in.]

[ripetuto]

Too bad the rent here's probably too expensive.

[A joke, because honestly quick pizza is a perk but an expensive one. Moody Blues vanishes and Abbacchio goes to help however he can.]

...fuck, gonna have to find somewhere else to live. My apartment's full of families and nonnas who nag too much.

[nellacerniera]

[A pause, as Bucciarati dismisses Sticky Fingers.]

... You could just stay here. There's plenty of room and I wouldn't mind.

[ripetuto]

I couldn't. I'm a mess--literally, I'm a mess, you should see my bathroom counter.

[nellacerniera]

It'd be fine, Abbacchio.

[ripetuto]

...then sure. It'd...I'm on a month-to-month lease.

[And it's almost up.]

[nellacerniera]

Let's get you moved in here within the week, then.

[ripetuto]

[And they do! Within the week Abbacchio goes from a disgraced police offer to a member of Passione working directly under one of their best capos, crashing in his spare bedroom and getting his cosmetics all over the vanity. He's not okay, and he doubts he will be for a while, but...it's better than he thought it'd be.

The week after he's officially settled in, Abbacchio goes to Bucciarati's room and leans against the doorframe.]

Hey.

[nellacerniera]

Hey. Something up?

[As he sets his book aside.]

[ripetuto]

[It's okay, Abbacchio. You can do this.]

It's your club, but...come go with me.

[A+ good job Leone.]

[nellacerniera]

[Nailed it, Leone.]
