[Ratio doesn't really ask what Aventurine gets up to when he's off doing whatever it is he does.

It's late right now, and Ratio's minding his own business, as he does. Probably not going to bed terribly soon anyway.

So, you know, perfect time for interruptions to his night.]

[He turns a bit pink and nods.]

You may.

My dear doctor~ You're cute when you blush.

[Oh, that just makes him flush deeper.]

I'm not... accustomed to being called such things.

Is that right? Should I call you that more often?

... I think I'd like if you did.

My dearest doctor.

[Aventurine leans over and takes Ratio's hand.]

[He smiles, then entwines their fingers before squeezing gently.]

[Maybe the bite wasn't so bad.

Aventurine adjusts to being a werecat pretty easily, all things considered. It's a little annoying when he turns without warning, usually from exhaustion, but that only happens once in a while. It helps, being with Veritas properly. It's nice.

One day, some months after the bite, Aventurine tells Veritas he is going to (hypothetically) murder Sugalite.

He then turns into a cat and goes to Veritas's place to sleep on his pillows.]

[And Veritas... takes off a bit early that day. So it'll be a bit earlier than expected when the door opens.]

Kakavasha?

[takesitall]

[No response. He's asleep.]

[ignoranceisblight]

[And he'll go look for Kakavasha-- ah, on his pillows. He won't move to wake his boyfriend, but he'll go ahead and change out of his work clothes while he's in here.]

[He wakes up after a bit anyway, the smell and sounds of his boyfriend enough to do it. He doesn't transform back, however, preferring to stay cat right now.

Veritas has likely learned by now that sometimes, he just needs to be a cat and not think.]

[Yeah, he kind of figured it'd be a cat evening after earlier. Once he's changed into something more comfortable, he goes over to scritch behind Kakavasha's ears.]

[Oh that is so good. Kakavasha leans into the touch, purring.]

[ignoranceisblight]

[He smiles a little, sitting down on the bed.]

[takesitall]

[He is so tired, and now there is a lap.

So into the lap he goes, meowing so Veritas knows that Kakavasha still wants pets even if he's moved.]

[More pets for Kakavasha, then!]

Here, I've got you.

Mrrp.

[Yep, he is a happy kitty in his boyfriend's lap, eyes closed and purrs loud.]

[So cute.

Veritas will absolutely spoil Kakavasha with pets and scritches until his boyfriend has decided that's enough.]

Let me know when you want something to eat, Kakavasha.

[Oh right. Food!

He mews. Hungry now please.]

[He smiles, scooping Kakavasha up and standing. He'll set Kakavasha down on his shoulder once he stands and heads for the kitchen.

He keeps cat-safe cooked chicken on hand now (with a tiny bit of salt, having relented just a little), so he'll heat some of that up so Kakavasha can eat.

(And get some water for him, too.)]

[His boyfriend loves him~

Kakavasha is quickly appeased by chicken and water, at least, and he's soon back up on Veritas's shoulder. It's his favorite spot when he's like this.]

[Honestly, Veritas enjoys having him right there, too. He'll head into the living room, sitting on the sofa and turning the TV on. The laser pointer is sitting right next to the remote...

He glances at Kakavasha. Does he want to play or does he want to rest some more?]

He bats at the laser pointer. A little play might nice!]
