[Ciar has been living on the edge of town for a while. Nobody, at least, messes with the dragon. He pays no attention to whatever the rumors might say about him. He just wants to mind his own business.

It's a nice, quiet little existence, if a little bit of a lonely one. At the moment, he's curled up with a blanket and a good book, listening to the rain outside. Though a bit of noise that is very much not the rain catches his attention, making him look up.]

[Kakavasha can only hope this cave is safer than the last one he tried. He's cold and wet and hungry, so it'd be nice if he could stay here a day or two. It'd let his leg heal up a little, as well. Damn hunters...]

[Oh, that's... that sure is a wolf, huh.

Ciar sets his book aside to get a little closer, and get a better look. Shit, that injury...]

Hey there, big guy...

[takesitall]

[Kakavasha startles when he hears someone, growling low in his throat. Maybe if he acts scary they won't notice the injury or the fact he's really skinny.]

[quicksilverwings]

[Unfortunately, Ciar's not intimidated--and what's more, his eyes seem to shine in the low light.]

Easy, easy now...

[takesitall]

[Why does this guy's eyes shine? He tries to scoot away, but his leg stops him.]

[quicksilverwings]

I'm not going to hurt you, I just want to look at your injury...

[As Ciar gets closer, it's probably pretty clear why his eyes are shining-- or at least those reptilian slit pupils are a pretty good indication.]

[takesitall]

[A dragon. Seriously?!

Kakavasha whines, going flat on his belly.]

[quicksilverwings]

[He moves to get a better look at the injury, frowns a little, then gets back up and hurries away.

When he returns, it's with supplies to tend to the wound.]

Here, it's okay... Will you let me take care of your injury?

[takesitall]

[Oh.

Kakavasha huffs.]

Werewolf.

[So be careful.]

[quicksilverwings]

[Okay, that explains a lot. He makes a little hum of acknowledgement, pulling on a pair of disposable gloves before he starts working.

He carefully treats the injury, occasionally checking how Kakavasha's doing, and when he isn't, singing something softly in the draconic language in an effort to soothe the werewolf a little.]

[takesitall]

[It works, and by the time he's done Kakavasha is relaxed as much as he can be with his head on his paws.]

Dragon?

[quicksilverwings]

Yeah.

[Now that he's done, he gives a gentle scratch behind Kakavasha's ears.]

My name's Ciar. [A pause.] Want me to carry you somewhere a bit warmer in here?

[takesitall]

[A wolfy nod.]

Cold.

[quicksilverwings]

Alright.

[He'll carefully pick Kakavasha up--noting with a worried frown how skinny the werewolf is--and carry him away from the cave's entrance.

He gets to the part of the cave that connects to his tiny little lair proper, shifting Kakavasha in his arms.]

My lair's just in here, it'll be a lot warmer than the rest of the cave... plus I've got food in there, too.

[takesitall]

Food? Meat?

[His tail wags a little.]

[quicksilverwings]

Yeah, plenty of it.

[He smiles a little, getting the two of them into the lair. Kakavasha is set down on some blankets while Ciar goes to the kitchen area to grab the meat.]

[takesitall]

[Kakavasha transforms after being set down, mostly because it's easier to eat with hands.]

I'm human, now.

[quicksilverwings]

[Ciar returns with the meat for both of them-- it's been smoked, to make sure it keeps.]

Here.

[... Oh, the werewolf is a cute boy, oh no-]

[takesitall]

Thanks.

[A cute naked boy, though he did cover himself with the blankets.]

Kakavasha.

[quicksilverwings]

[Ciar is trying very hard to not think much about the naked part.]

Ciar. [A beat.] Oh, right, I said that earlier.

[He laughs a little as he sits down, shaking his head. He offers the meat with a small smile.]

It's, um, nice to meet you.

[takesitall]

[He takes the meat, sniffing it before taking a bite.]

Mhm. Sorry, it's been a while since I was human shaped.

[quicksilverwings]

[It's been smoked and salted, in order to preserve it.]

Oh, um-- it's okay. [Another awkward pause.] ... Sorry, it's been a while since I've had anyone to talk to.

[takesitall]

...so we're both bad at this, huh?

[He doesn't seem bothered, at least, just amused.]

[quicksilverwings]

[He giggles a little.]

Sounds like it... At least it means it won't bother either of us, huh?

[takesitall]

Yeah.

[More eating!]
