[Ciar has been living on the edge of town for a while. Nobody, at least, messes with the dragon. He pays no attention to whatever the rumors might say about him. He just wants to mind his own business.

It's a nice, quiet little existence, if a little bit of a lonely one. At the moment, he's curled up with a blanket and a good book, listening to the rain outside. Though a bit of noise that is very much not the rain catches his attention, making him look up.]

[Kakavasha transforms after being set down, mostly because it's easier to eat with hands.]

[Ciar returns with the meat for both of them-- it's been smoked, to make sure it keeps.]

[Ciar is trying very hard to not think much about the naked part.]

Ciar. [A beat.] Oh, right, I said that earlier.

[He laughs a little as he sits down, shaking his head. He offers the meat with a small smile.]

It's, um, nice to meet you.

[takesitall]

[He takes the meat, sniffing it before taking a bite.]

Mhm. Sorry, it's been a while since I was human shaped.

[quicksilverwings]

[It's been smoked and salted, in order to preserve it.]

Oh, um-- it's okay. [Another awkward pause.] ... Sorry, it's been a while since I've had anyone to talk to.

...so we're both bad at this, huh?

[He doesn't seem bothered, at least, just amused.]

[He giggles a little.]

Sounds like it... At least it means it won't bother either of us, huh?

[takesitall]

Yeah.

[More eating!]

Do you know the hunters around here?

Not really... I try to avoid them since I'm pretty young for a dragon and I don't trust them...

[He makes a face.]

They'd probably try to get rid of me if they knew I wasn't as big or scary as the rumors say.

They were the ones who hurt me. If you knew them, I was going to ask if you'd tell them I'm not stealing their sheep.

[quicksilverwings]

I could probably find someone to tell them.

[There's a couple people he's on good terms with, but.]

... Do you want to stay here while you heal up?

[takesitall]

...I wouldn't mind. It's hard for a lone wolf.

[quicksilverwings]

[... Difficult, and Ciar's no expert, but he's pretty sure being a lone wolf like this is bad for werewolves.]

Then you can definitely stay here! [...] As long as you want, even.

[takesitall]

...are you sure about that?

[But he does seem happy to hear it.]

[He nods!]

It's... probably better for you to have at least someone around, right? I don't have a lot of room, but that's something I can fix! And my sleeping area's pretty small, so we could even kind of do a pile for sleeping!

[He perks up a lot.]

A pile would be nice! I haven't seen my family...um. Yeah.

[He nods.]

I'll show you where I sleep when we're done eating, then!

Thanks, Ciar. I thought dragons were scary mean creatures, not nice.

I mean, some dragons probably are, but I'd definitely rather be nice.

I'm glad I found a nice dragon, then.

[He smiles.]

...do you have more food?

Oh, yeah! I'll go get it.

[He hops up, going to grab the food, then brings it back.]

[Kakavasha eats his fill--which is quite a lot--and only ends up stopping when he starts to yawn.]

[He smiles a little.]
